Did you know that the Hartland Landfill will reach capacity by the year 2100? To extend the lifespan of the landfill, the CRD aims to reduce the amount of waste generated from 380 kg/person (in 2018) to 250 kg/person by 2030.

 

CRD representatives will be visiting Pender Island to solicit your feedback. They will hold an open house at the Community Hall on Monday, November 25 from 2 pm to 6 pm.

 

We know that Pender Islanders are incredible at reducing and reusing and we hope that you will attend the meeting to provide your insights into this very important topic.
